BODE
Bode Nashville is an adaptive reuse project located within the epicenter of the SoBro neighborhood in Downtown Nashville. In collaboration with Pfeffer Torode Architects, we transitioned a 40-unit condo building into a short-term rental community to support the ever-expanding hospitality market. With the goal of minimal intervention, we converted an existing carport structure into a common “Hub” where guests and locals could find essential groceries and an all-day cafe. An additional carport was converted to a bar. Daiagh Rick Landscape Architects designed modern outdoor lounge areas, providing intimate gathering moments. The rental units offer the unique lodging experience of a full apartment. The program concept was the first of Bode's many locations nationwide. The result is an intimate environment for both the public and Bode guests to enjoy amidst the bustle of the city. Bode was a 2017 Gold Key Awards Finalist for Best Emerging Concept.
